eddie
eddie is an email discussion forum for staff working in local authority education and children's services departments. eddie is funded by the LGA and managed by the NFER.
What eddie does
eddie keeps members in touch with over 900 colleagues in other local authorities. Members of eddie include directors, assistant directors, heads of service, managers, advisers, statisticians and officers working in policy, planning, data services, commissioning and information teams.
Through eddie, members can:

open up a discussion

promote publications or conferences.
Messages sent to eddie go to all members of the forum.
Access to the forum is restricted to registered members.
Mailtalk
eddie uses Mailtalk collaborative software. eddie membership includes access to the forum’s web pages at Mailtalk. Through the pages members can:
