Pippa has extensive experience of leading multi-method evaluations combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to produce robust findings fit for purpose, for a wide range of clients including TDA, DCSF/DoE, GTCE, Creative Partnerships/CCE, CfBT, RSC and NCSL. Pippa has particular experience of leading research around the STEM agenda, creativity, CPD and workforce development, and impacts on young people. She has considerable skills in conducting national and international literature and evidence reviews, on topics ranging from learner motivation to integrated children’s services.

Pippa has pioneered the use of impact trail approaches to evaluate the impact of CPD on teachers, pupils and schools. She has considerable skills in report writing and presenting to a wide range of audiences. She has produced toolkits for the GTCE on evaluating the impacts of teacher CPD, and a framework for school-school learning for Creative Partnerships. Pippa is currently leading projects on children’s centres exploring targeting and leadership.
